Placements & Internships : As for internships here, one can do research project under the professor but that is not paid. There is placement cell in my college and the average salary is about INR 3-4 lakhs per annum and the latest placement which my seniors got were of the average of INR 3.5 lakhs per annum.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : My course is B.Sc Polymer Science (Hons.) The admission is based on merit. They consider performance of 12th class. At my time the first cutoff went to 95% for general and then it came down to 87% when fifth cutoff list was generated.

Fees & Scholarships : Fee for my course varies year to year. My course fee is INR 25,000 in first year, INR 22,000 in second year and INR 17,800 in the final year. There are scholarships for the students who hail from a poor family background whose income is less than INR 2,200 per year. I don’t think any loan facility is needed.

Academics & Faculty : The college starts from 9 o’clock in gthe morning and ends at 5 o’clock in the evening. The quality and method of teaching is good and the overall experience in the college is very nice.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Hostel facilities are not provided by the college but there are PGs near to the college available at affordable rates of INR 7,000 per month which includes the food also. The food in college is not quite good but it is cheap. Quality of classrooms, labs and libraries is good.

Clubs & Associations : There are many clubs which give platform to the students to show their talent. Our college has music, photography, dance, drama, and fashion society. The main function is the annual fest , sports day, and departmental fest etc. College life is nice as the and there is greenery all around the campus.
