GYMKHANA
The Institute has a Gymkhana to oversee the sports activities. The Institute (common to other four sister- institutes) has playground of area approximately 2.4 Hectares & common gymkhana building at the end of the ground with well equipped gymnasium, sports gear etc.
Motivation to the students:
- The students are motivated by the Institute by providing facilities for practice. All kind of sports materials are supplied to the students without taking any charges from them
- All expenses towards the participation in tournaments is borne by the Institute
Coaching:
- The coaching is provided to cricket, kabaddi, volleyball, basketball & badminton team every year. The Institute provides coaching to the other teams on demand. Coaching period is of generally one month duration for all events.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Classrooms are good and are maintained in all aspects. Labs are also provided with required software hardware capabilities. Our library has a large collection of books.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : A student should have passed his/her 12th Board. Admission is done through CAP rounds. Cut-offs are gone to 82%.
Placements & Internships : Wipro is one of the key company which comes on the campuses. Average package offered is INR 2 lakh per annum. The college has a strong alumni network.
Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is INR 30,000 to INR 35,000 per annum. The scholarship is available to students through reserved schemes.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are different hostels for boys and girls. The hostel facilities are really good. The annual hostel fees are about INR 50000 per student. The college canteen provides a better quality of food. The institute contains 4 buildings and a playground. The classrooms are big and airy with a blackboard and projector arrangement. All instruments required for practicals are available at various laboratories. The student library contains thousands of books and reference books. The institute provides free Wi-Fi facility for laptops.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : SSC pass students are eligible for this course. DTE conducts the whole admission procedure through CAP rounds. No entrance exam needed to be eligible for this course. Cutoffs for this course are high (above 88%).
Placements & Internships : The internship is mandatory for second-year students in summer vacations. I have done an internship at Poonawalla Intervalve Ltd. for a month. Average salary figure obtainable from this course is INR 15000. Highest salary figure obtainable for this course is INR 27000. About 70% candidates are placed from a batch. The alumni network of Cusrow Wadia Institute of Technology, [CWIT] is very good. The Institute conducts annual alumni meet and raise funds for a scholarship given to needy students through alumni meet.
Fees & Scholarships : For open category students, course fees per year is INR 8182. The institute gives scholarship (CWITian scholarship) for eligible students through alumni network. About 15 students from a batch are awarded by scholarship.
Academics & Faculty : The lectures begin at 10:30 am. Lunch break is at 1:15 pm to 2:00 pm. Practicals are carried after lunch break up to 6 pm. The institute is famous for brilliant staff and excellent teaching quality. Some brilliant staff members have over 30 years of teaching experience. The overall experience is very great and enthusiastic throughout the academic years. Seminars, Guest lectures, special events, personality development programs, workshops, presentations made the overall experience unforgettable for me.
