Library

Library is considered to be soul of any academic institution and it plays a very important role in the field of education. Education and library are adjoined together; one cannot be separated from another. As a focal point for teaching, learning, and research, library is expected to provide standard information resources. Law library is aptly referred as heart and soul of any educational institution imparting legal education. D.E.S's Shri. Navalmal Firodia Law College (DES SNFLC) is the hub of all library activities established to accomplish the research and academic objective of the college. It is located in the second floor of the D.E.S's Shri. Navalmal Firodia Law College (DES SNFLC) building giving access to its rich and paramount collection of primary and secondary Legal Resources to its entire user’s community. Keeping in view of its vital role, the library is being constantly augmented by the acquisition of latest books, journals and electronic resources.

The Inauguration of the library extension in third floor having a seating capacity of 100 students was inaugurated by Dr. Abhay Firodiya, Chairman, Force Motors on 17th February, 2012.

Computer Lab

Considering the fast changing world of technological inventions, all the fields of knowledge are increasingly becoming dependent on computers and allied technology. Today's legal field is no exception to this scenario. DES SNFLC has facilitated this exposure through an exclusive Computer Section with state-of-art facility to impart training connected with legal education. Today, the college is equipped with a spacious lab for the exclusive use of students having a capacity of 15 users / units at a time. High speed broadband connectivity provides an extended access to vast intellectual resources. Access to online Legal Resources and Search Engines like Manupatra, S.S.C Online and Law- Super are available. The students make use of these facilities as an integral part of their daily operations.

D.E.S. Shri. Navalmal Firodia Law College is moving towards enhancing the technological teaching aids in the classrooms by facilitating it with LCD Projectors and Laptops.

Besides, there are also computers in the library reference section, connected to the Internet, exclusively meant for the faculty members.

Extra - Curricular Facilities

To develop the dramatic skills, to tap potential, individual talent and skills of student’s, participation in prestigious dramatic and cultural events is whole heartedly encouraged.

Students participate in Purushottam Karandak, Vedant, Jallosh, Sakal Karandak, Sarpotdar Karandak, Mood Indigo (IIT Powai), Sinhagad Karandak, Pinacle, etc.

In addition to outside participation our Annual Cultural Fest INDRADHANUSH is celebrated with much ‘Fan fare’.

As a part of Indradhanush various inhouse competitions and specific theme days, as well as, cultural entertainment programme is conducted with the aim of adding some colour to the academic routine.

Sports Facilities

Sports Activities occupy an important role of students campus life. Participation of students in various sports fests, Inter-Collegiate Competitions and University Level Tournaments are encouraged on regular basis.
