DDUC Infrastructure: Library, Gym, Auditorium, Cafeteria & Other Facilities

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College offers a multi-storey structure on 7.7 acres with various green elements. The campus offers various facilities, including a library, hostels, cafeteria, sports facilities, etc. Some of the highlighting features of the DDUC infrastructure are mentioned below.

Library: The DDUC library is now completely computerised, with a total collection of roughly 45,000 documents. The library is an essential forum for academic dialogue and intellectual exchanges. It includes textbooks, reference books, bound volumes, journals/magazines, newspapers, non-book materials such as CD-ROMS/DVDs, and audio cassettes. It has other non-book materials in mathematics, physics, chemistry, botany, zoology, computer science, electronics, political science, economics, commerce, technology, arts, language subjects, history, and general reading.

Auditorium: The DDUC campus has an auditorium that can accommodate roughly 400 people. It is fully equipped with audio-visual equipment. The auditorium is completely air-conditioned. It is also utilised for special speakers seminars, conferences, and lectures. 

Cafeteria: DDUC offers a large, air-conditioned café with seating for about 100 people. There is also an Amul counter where students can purchase Amul items. The DDUC canteen is well-equipped with high-quality furniture and has a pleasant environment.

Sports Facilities: The gymnasium is well-equipped. The sports complex offers a badminton court, squash court, and space for additional indoor activities.

Computer Centre: The college has a centrally air-conditioned computer centre with 200 users. Servers, desktops and a 10-gigabit fibre backbone provide dedicated internet connectivity through WLAN (Wi-Fi) and LAN. It allows students and professors to use a world-class teaching and learning system. The computer centre gives students and faculty access to various tools and software given below.

Laboratories: DDUC DU facilities include 21 laboratories with scientific and computational technology. For participatory learning, they have audio-visual aids.

Hostel: The DDUC hostel offers 45 furnished rooms to students. There are double sharing rooms available. Each level includes a communal washroom, and each room has an attached washroom. Residents can eat their meals in a separate mess at the hostel. It is run by the inhabitants under the direction of the warden and is cost-effective. The DDUC mess serves nutritious meals to the locals. The citizens council decides on the menu. The dining hall will serve the meals. The hostel features a fully air-conditioned common area where students can sit and relax during their free time. The common room has newspapers and magazines available. A television is also available for the inhabitants' amusement. 

Medical Care: Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College Delhi facilities include a medical care that offers a first aid box. The resident is transported to the nearest hospital in a medical emergency and notified of the situation. Following that, the local guardian is required to take care, and the parents/local guardian will be responsible for all therapy and expenses, with the college not being accountable for the course of treatment. In an illness, residents are strongly cautioned not to take self-prescribed medicine.

Banking Facilities: The Punjab National Bank (PNB) branch is located within the college grounds. There is also an ATM with passbook printing capabilities.
