Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College is one of the top constituent colleges of the University of Delhi. It was established in 1990. The college has been accredited by NAAC with a 'B' grade and approved by UGC. The college aims in creating confident, dedicated honest, and upright individuals who become an asset to society. The college was ranked 13th PAN INDIA in NIRF 2018 Ranking conducted by NIRF. CUET UG 2023 examination will be conducted between May 21, 2023, and May 31, 2023. CUET UG 2023 exam dates in selected cities have been extended to June 1, 2, 5, and 6, due to a large number of applications received.

The college promotes quality education in the disciplines of Arts, Science and Commerce. Most of the faculties in the college are highly experienced and well qualified. The college has a computer centre which is centrally air-conditioned with a capacity of about 200 users. There is a water recycling plant utilized for effective water management.

The college has two separate hostels for boys and girls. Each hostel has a total number of 45 furnished rooms. The rooms are allotted on a twin sharing basis. Every room has attached washrooms and a common washroom on each floor. The hostel has a separate mess which serves delicious meals. Wifi facility is available for the hostel residents. There is an air-conditioned common room in the hostel where students can sit and enjoy their leisure time. There are television, newspapers, and magazines provided in the common room.
