Dr. B C Roy Engineering College was established on 21st August 2000 in Durgapur, West Bengal. BCREC was affiliated to the University of Burdwan later it is affiliated to MAKAUT. The College was approved by AICTE and DTE, recognized by the Government of West Bengal. The Institute is dedicated to Bidhan Chandra Roy, the architect of modern West Bengal.
