Fathima Institute of Medical Sciences Infrastructure: Library, Labs, Auditorium, Cafeteria & Other Facilities

Infrastructure :-

The Society has acquired land of Acres 36.52 Cents Facing on Kadapa to Pulivendla road within the Gudur Village, Kadapa Mandal and Ramarajupalli Village Kadapa Mandal. The place has all the required basic infrastructural facilities. The land is facing on Kadapa to Pulivendla road. The plot of land is about 3 kms from the Kadapa city. The Mandal Revenue Officer Kadapa vide his office letter No. SDT/1922/2000 dated 23-11-2000 has certified that the Mohammadiya Educational Society Kadapa is having the requisite lands by way of purchase. The acquired land is Non Agricultural land and the entire land is continuous and only one piece (copy enclosed in the list of enclosures).The Mandal Revenue Officer, Kadapa vide his office letter No.SD/1922/2000 dated 28-07-2001 has certified that the Mohammadiya Educational Society has hospitals and other buildings are within the jurisdiction of Guduru Gram Panchayats and Ramarajupalli Gram Panchayat of Kadapa Mandal. As these villages do not fail under Urban agglomeration, the Zoning plan is not applicable to the above college site.

Hospital and Other Buildings

The Society has constructed a 300 beds hospital at the place and the same is operational. The up gradation programme for the Hospital will be taken up as per the Medical Council of India regulations so as to make it 750 beds Teaching Hospital. The Buildings of the College, Students Hostels, etc., as per the Medical Council of India regulations are constructed for the 1st phase and further as per time bound Prgramme.

Equipment

At present the Hospital is furnished with 300 beds and all the required equipment for 100 admissions annually. It is proposed to strengthen the equipment position by adding further equipment to fulfill the requirement of 750 beds hospital in a phased manner so as to adequately furnish the same to make it a Teaching Hospital as per the Medical Council of India guidelines for 150 admissions annually in future.

Central Library

Fathima Institute of medical sciences has an excellent library fully air-conditioned and well protected with fire alarms equipped reading halls are available for the benefit of students, faculties. As one of the best established libraries according to International Standards, the Library has a large collection of books covering various branches in Medical and Health Sciences and its related fields.

Computer Facilities

Fully air-conditioned computer halls with more than 30 terminals with internet facilities are available in central library. Students can accuses internet facility to down load the latest journals and latest reference books for academic learning. Journals Rooms Fully air conditioned with latest Foreign and Indian journals rooms is available in central library.
