Entrance Exams & Admissions :
Eligibility Criteria:
One must have passed the 12th standard with at least 45% aggregate from any board. Although the cutoffs are always above 95%, this is a pre-requirement to fill the UG admission form.
One must have passed Mathematics/ Business Mathematics in one's 12th standard.
Admission Procedure:
You will be required to fill the common UG admission form of Delhi University. Henceforth, the percentage of your highest scored 4 subjects will be considered.
Various colleges release a series of cutoff lists based on the result and the number of applicants.
Once your Best 4 percentage meets the required cutoff, you can apply there on the UG portal.
Once the college reviews your application, you can pay your fees in the given time frame and secure your admission.

Being one of the top undergraduate colleges in India, Hansraj releases high cutoffs and has seen an upward trend over the years.
It is generally in the range of 96-100% for the General category.
Placements & Internships :
Internships:
The college has a separate Internship Cell on which students can register to get exclusive internship opportunities without any delays and hassles.
The roles offered are diverse, but the most common are Marketing, Sales, Human Resource, Research, Finance, etc. From time to time, it offers practical roles as well. I once saw a baking intern and a videographer intern opportunity on the portal.
The stipends will vary according to the roles. They might range from paying nothing to paying as much as inr 50k a month.
Placements:
Hansraj has a good brand value, and hence many big MNCs approach it for campus recruitment like DeShaw, EY, Wipro, etc. You can score your articleship as well here.

While the highest package goes even above inr 20LPA, the average package revolves about inr 5LPA.

Hansraj has a prestigious and diverse alumni network, with SRK being one of the top names. It includes various IAS officers, venture starters, actors, etc. The Alumni Cell of Commerce Society will let you connect with even those people who went abroad so that you can take guidance from them.
Academics & Faculty :
The classes generally start at 8.40 AM and may go up to 4 PM. The classes may or may not be continuous. The lunch break is between 12.40 PM and 1 PM.
Group projects and online assessments are being taken amid the pandemic.
Hansraj's professors are quite experienced, and hence, the overall quality is very good. The classes are currently through the MS Teams, and hence, there might be some disconnect, but the teachers have adapted to the online environment.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
The college has a boys hostel but no girls hostel. They are allotted based on the distance from your hometown and your performance in studies. DU has several common hostels options for its colleges where one can apply.
The PGs are easily available near the college, and the cost varies according to the number of roommates, facilities and proximity to the college.
