Academics & Faculty : I am doing my masters in organic chemistry at Mahatma Gandhi University, [MGU] Kottayam. The department in which i study is known as school of chemical sciences. The department consist of very good teaching faculty.The teachers are highly qualified .The syllabus of course is designed in such a way to get academic excellence for the students. The syllabus is some what equal to IISc Bangalore. The campus is very beautiful with 160 acres. A fully green campus which makes our mind relaxed.The course consist of four semesters. The fourth semester is exclusively designed for project. The students can do their projects in prestigious institution in India and abroad include IISc,NIIST.Which make the students familiar with research .We also get opportunity to attend many national and international seminars held in University and near by towns.Over all it is a good school which give many outstanding students to the society.So I hope that the students read this if get an opportunity must join here.The admission to the school is through mgcat.
