Manipal University placements have an exemplary record of placing most of its students in reputed organizations. The university is yet to release the MAHE Manipal placement report 2023. However, based on the NIRF report, a total of 4690 students from all the programs have been placed during MAHE placements 2023. Around 1679 students were placed from the 4-year UG programs alone. The median package offered for students of the 3-year PG programs was INR 15.80 LPA.

At the university level, a director is placed to smoothen the functioning of the placement cell. The cell encourages the students to be vigilant and constructive in their approach. The Manipal Academy of Higher Education placement cell assists students in both summer and final placements.

The students are trained for the upcoming placement procedures through various extracurricular activities and mock exams. The MAHE Manipal placement cell organizes various workshops, seminars, guest lectures, etc., to provide the best exposure for students. The cell also organizes multiple placement training sessions to prepare students for final placements.

Manipal University Placement Process

The placement cell of Manipal University is responsible for organizing annual placement drives. The step-by-step process for conducting Manipal University campus placements is given below.

• The placement cell sends campus recruitment invitations to potential recruiters to participate and recruit UG and PG students.
• Interested companies will get in touch with the placement cell and based on mutual convenience, the date of the visit is finalized.
• Companies then conduct Pre Placement Talks to help students understand the role, company, company's work culture, etc., better.
• Students are asked to apply for the recruitment process if they are interested.
• Companies might shortlist students based on their resumes.
• Shortlisted students are then called for the recruitment process, which is conducted on campus, off campus, or online.
• Recruiters issue an offer letter for students who have cleared the selection process through the MAHE placement cell.
• Students then have the option of either accepting or rejecting the offer based on their interest.

Manipal University Internship

Along with final placements, Manipal University also offers internship opportunities for students. Final-year B.Tech and MCA students are available for internships during their last semester. The duration of the internship is 4 to 6 months. Similarly, M.Tech students in their second year are available for internships for a duration of 6 months/ 10 to 12 months, depending on company requirements. Most of the internships offered are paid internships.
