Scholarships for MBBS and BDS Students

• Manipal University offers Freeship and Merit-Cum-Means scholarships based on NEET scores of the top-performing students of MBBS and BDS programs.

Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships Based on NEET Rank

Freeship

• Candidates who have secured NEET rank within 2,000 for MBBS and rank within 7,500 for BDS courses are eligible for the freeship.

Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships

• The Manipal University scholarship amount shall be determined by MAHE based on the parents’ annual income.
• Candidates are required to pay a minimum of INR 10,000 or the course fee after deducting the scholarship amount.

Scholarships for B.Tech and B.Pharm Based on MET Ranks

AICTE Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme

• The scheme of a tuition fee waiver for economically backward students who have undertaken B.Tech courses was introduced by AICTE
• The annual income of the students' parents should be less than INR 6 LPA

Scholarships for Academy of General Education Students [SAGES]

• Manipal University has reserved a few seats for the students who have studied their two years (11th and 12th)/ PUC for undergraduate courses.
• The students who have studied their 3 years of a degree course for postgraduate courses in the any of the Academy of General Education [AGE]/Dr TMA Pai Foundation colleges

Scholarships for B.Tech Students

• Students studied at any of the AGE/Dr TMA Pai Foundation Institutions who are admitted to the BTech programs through MET will be offered scholarships by Manipal University, Manipal.
• They should have secured general category rank of 10,000 in MET.

Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships for B.Tech [Lateral Entry]

• MAHE, Manipal offers merit-cum-means scholarships to the students admitted to B.Tech programs under the lateral entry scheme at MIT, Manipal
• Students should have studied their 3 years Diploma in Engineering Dr TMA Pai Polytechnic, Manipal or S N M Polytechnic, Moodbidri.

Scholarships for Konkani Speaking Students/ Students Studied in AGE Colleges

• Students whose mother tongue is Konkani can avail the Manipal University scholarship by attaching a certificate of language proof along with the application.

Scholarships Scheme of Interest Subsidy on Education Loan for MAHE Students

• Manipal University awards interest subsidy on education loan scholarships to eligible students who joined various courses at MAHE.
• The Manipal University scholarships is in the form of providing ‘Interest subsidy’ by partial reimbursement of the interest on education loan availed by them from banks.

Scholarships for Nursing Students

• Manipal University offers merit cum means scholarships for students joining B.Sc in Nursing programs.
• Candidates should have secured above 85% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in the 10+2 board examination
• Scholarship amount shall be determined based on the parents’ annual income

Scholarships for School of Information Science Students

• MAHE Manipal offers scholarships in the form of a 50% tuition fee concession for the top 10% of students admitted to the respective postgraduate programs at SOIS, based on the Manipal Entrance Test.
• A minimum of 20 students in the respective programs should be there to award the scholarship.

Kadambi Scholarships

• 2 scholarships of INR 30,000 each for Medical/ Dental science and Engineering science are given to the final year students who are good in both academics and sports.

ITC Scholarships

• ITC Hotel Limited provides scholarships worth INR 3.5 lakhs to the Bachelor of Hotel Management [BHM] students excelling in operational subjects and for the best all-round graduating students.

Teaching Assistantships

• Teaching assistantships are available to meritorious students joining M.Tech with a monthly remuneration of up to INR 5000.
