Moradabad Institute of Technology [MIT] is a self-financing privately managed engineering institute located in the Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 1996 by Moradabad Educational Trust (MET). It was one of the first four-degree engineering colleges established in UP under the Self Financing Scheme of Govt. of India. It is affiliated with Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. The Computer Science Engineering programme and Mechanical Engineering programme has got accreditation from NBA for three years. MIT Moradabad has also got 'A' accreditation from NAAC for the next five years. MIT Moradabad is also affiliated to AICTE and Indian Society for Technical Education.
