PhD Eligibility Criteria

Candidates having a Master's Degree in the relevant subject with or without any work experience should have passed with a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks for reserved category) or 6.0 CGPA (5.5 CGPA for reserved category) on the scale of 10 from any recognized university. Bachelor's Degree holders in the area of Design with 10 years of work experience must have passed with 8.0 CGPA (7.5 CGPA for reserved category) or 75% marks (70% marks for reserved category) to get admission in PhD program.

PhD Selection Process

The selection of candidates for PhD course at NIFT Mumbai is through a written test conducted by the university.
