NIFT’s major motive is to train their students as per the changing trends in the fashion technology so that the students can get placed in good companies.
Many multinational companies come to the campus to recruit students. I am naming some of the major companies below like Adidas, Arvind Mills, Reebok, Marks And Spencer, Puma, Body Shop, C.K., Infosys, Wills, Lifestyle.
The average salary is Rs. 4 to 4.5 lakh.
The highest salary was Rs. 11 lakh hired by the global company.
Almost above 75% students will get placed.
Entrance Exams & Admissions :
NIFT entrance exam will be conducted in February for all undergraduate programs.
The students have to clear the 12th with good marks to get admission in National Institute of Fashion Technology.
Fees & Scholarships :
Course fees in National Institute of Fashion Technology is around Rs. 8 lakh for 4 years.
Nift subsidy policy is available to the economical background students. Around 2 or 3 students will get scholarships.
Bank loans are readily available for every student. Union bank is providing loans to National Institute of Fashion Technology students.
Academics & Faculty :
Classes at National Institute of Fashion Technology start from 9:15 am morning we will have 2 sessions and after lunch again we have 3 sessions up to 5 pm.
Midterm and end term examinations will be conducted by an administration.
Every month we will have 1 to 2 assignments of each subject.
The quality and method of teaching are good. They will explain everything by practically and the students were motivated, encouraged by faculty for their good work.
My experience up to now is very good and I learned many things from college.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
National Institute of Fashion Technology campus consists of hostel for girls which cost around Rs. 50,000 per semester.
The hostel fees ranges up to Rs. 5 lakh.
The food in the college canteen is good and it cost Rs. 2,500 per month and Rs. 40 per meal.
Every lab, classrooms, libraray are well maintained with good furniture and resourceful items and wifi will have normal speed.
Clubs & Associations :
National Institute of Fashion Technology campus has sports club, cultural club, Ecsse club.
Main events like converge, spectrum, freshers party, convocation.
The life in the college is very jolly and resourceful.
