Sri Muthukumaran Medical College Courses & Fees 

Sri Muthukumaran Medical College offers undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) admissions through entrance exams. The college offers 8 courses in Medicine and Health Sciences, of which MBBS is the most popular UG course and MS and MD are offered at the PG level.

The total tuition fee for UG courses is INR 1,800,000, while application, exam, and other service fees are paid in addition to that. These fees are subject to change and are according to the guidelines of the official authority. PG courses last for 3 years.

SMMCARI MBBS:

The MBBS course is of four and a half years duration and is followed by one year Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI). The syllabus for the course is as prescribed in the guidelines given by The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University located in Chennai.

Sri Muthukumaran Medical College Admissions 

MBBS (5.5 years, including internship) and PG courses in MD/MS: The admission into MBBS is based on the NEET UG score, whereas into MD/MS on NEET PG. Candidates after obtaining the desired cut-off marks have to register themselves for counseling. DME takes up the counseling process for state quota seats and MCC for AIQ seats. First, they need to apply on the MCC website, and then after depositing the counseling fee, the candidate should report to the college for which they are allotted a seat.

To get into SMMCHRI through MBBS, candidates need to pass NEET UG conducted by NTA and qualify for the cut-off to attend NEET counseling. The MBBS is of 5.5 years duration with a 1-year internship.
