SIMC Pune MA is a two-year full-time residential program. It offers a diverse set of courses across communication theories and culture, film and television studies, digital multimedia and digital technologies, and offers two specializations - Audio Visual and Journalism.

Admission to SIMC Pune is based on the SIMC MA (MC) Online Entrance Test. It is conducted by Symbiosis University. However, students with scores of CAT can apply directly for the admission. For 2023, the CAT registration has begun and the exam was conducted on Nov 26, 2023.
