Entrance Exams & Admissions : To be eligible for admission in UCMS, you can either get admission through the All India Quota (for students who did their schooling outside Delhi) or the Delhi Quota (85%) for those who did their schooling from Delhi. The entrance examination for admission is National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) which usually occurs in the first week of May every year. This 720 marks test is divided into 3 sections. Physics(180 marks), Chemistry(180 marks) and Biology(360 marks). There are 180 questions in total with 4 marks for every correct answer, -1 for every incorrect answer and 0 for unattempted questions. After giving the exam, the results are declared in June and the counseling takes place according to the ranks. Colleges are allotted in the counseling and then the student has to go to the college to get admission after completing the formalities. The cutoff varies each year.

Fees & Scholarships : University College of Medical Sciences, [UCMS] New Delhi M.B.B.S. Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 6K. Loans are not needed as such because the fee amount is very less. The fees depend on the year in which you are studying.    

Academics & Faculty : The classes start from 9 am in the first year and end at 5 pm. Whereas in the 2nd year the classes are from 8 am - 4 pm. One hour lunch break is provided to relax (1-2pm). Exams occur annually called Professionals. Semesters take place every 6 months but the main marks are carried by the professional exams at the end of each year. The quality of teaching is excellent. The overall experience in college is amazing to be it the seniors, the teachers, the batchmates.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are many hotels within the campus including girls hostel, new boys hostel, old boys hostel, junior resident doctor hostel, SR hostel, etc. The hostel fee per month is around 1200₹. The food in college is average and pretty cheap. The lecture theaters are in excellent condition, so are the labs, libraries, etc
