The Kerala SET exam pattern 2024 includes two papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2. The paper 1 include questions from two sections: General Knowledge and Aptitude in Teaching. It will carry a total of 120 multiple-choice questions with 60 MCQs in each section. Students will be given 2 hours each to complete the paper 1.

Moreover, paper 2 will contain 31 different subjects, and candidates are advised to choose the subjects based on their postgraduate specializations. The paper will contain 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), but for Mathematics and Statistics, there will be 80 MCQs, which will carry 1.5 marks each. Students will be allotted 2 hours to complete the paper.

Candidates must sit for both papers. Furthermore, there is no negative marking in the Kerala SET exam 2024 for wrong answers to unattempted questions.
