Educational QualificationFor TN TET Paper-II (for classes VI-VIII)	The candidate must have completed their higher secondary or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.  The candidate must either have passed or be appearing for the final year examination of a recognised 2-year elementary education programme.  The candidate must have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised board of education. Any candidate that has completed their BEd from an institution recognised by NCTE.

TNTET Eligibility Criteria 2025: Age Limit

The minimum age limit to apply for the TNTET 2025 examination is 18, which means a candidate must have obtained this age before the date specified by the authority. The maximum age limit to apply has been capped at 40. Additionally, relaxation in age will be given as per the state government norms and official TNTET eligibility criteria 2025.
