IISc and IITs both are the premier institutes of India. As per NIRF 2023 Rankings, IISc Bangalore holds the top two rankings in the "University" and "Overall" categories. The majority of IITs are not as highly ranked by the NIRF. IIT helps you become employable in the job market whereas IISC is for students who have a passion for science and want to pursue research and doctorates after graduation.
