The IIM Bangalore doctoral research fellowship provides an opportunity for candidates to participate in a joint research project under a faculty's supervision. The research project will be based on a topic of mutual interest. The IIMB's finance and accounting area provide the IIM Bangalore doctoral research fellowship programme, and the selected fellows will receive a definite amount each month.

IIM Bangalore Doctoral Research Fellowship Eligibility Criteria

The fellowship programme is a full-time position with no teaching obligation. The eligibility criteria of the IIM Bangalore doctoral research fellowship are as follows:

• The candidates should not be over 45 years of age.
• The candidates should have obtained their PhD degree in finance, banking, economics, statistics, econometrics or other related streams.
• Those who are closing to complete their PhD degree are also eligible to apply for the IIM Bangalore doctoral research fellowship.
• The candidates should be willing to work under the supervision of a faculty.

IIM Bangalore Doctoral Research Fellowship Rewards

The selected candidates will receive a gross monthly salary of INR 90,000 for the IIM Bangalore doctoral research fellowship. The institute will also publish selected research papers in leading banks and finance journals at the end of the fellowship.
