IIT Indore Junior Research Fellowship Eligibility Criteria
The applicants must meet all the requirements before applying for the IIT Indore discipline of civil engineering junior research fellowship. The eligibility criteria to apply for the programme are as follows:
- The candidates should have a master's degree in the relevant field, OR they should have a bachelor's degree in engineering (any branch).
- IIT, Indore will prefer applicants with a valid NET or GATE score.
- Candidates familiar with field collection data and publication topics are preferable.
IIT Indore Junior Research Fellowship Benefits
The selected fellows will get an opportunity to be a part of the research project called 'Analysis and Modelling of Drivers' Perception and Performance of Operational Measures for Geometric Design Consistency and Safety Evaluation of High-Speed Roadways'. They will also receive INR 31,000 per month as per DST norms.

The candidates who want to apply for the fellowship can mail their updated resume to the concerned person. The institute will not entertain incomplete applications sent to them. The stepwise procedure to apply for the IIT Indore discipline of civil engineering junior research fellowship are as follows:
Step 1 - The candidates should prepare an updated and detailed resume.
Note: The CV should contain complete information, including the GATE or NET score, year of passing, their discipline, marks, their rank and the number of candidates who appeared in the all India exam.
Step 2 - They should mail their CV to gourabsil@iiti.ac.in and address it to Dr Gourab Sil, who works in the Indian Institute of Technology Indore civil engineering discipline.
Step 3 - The candidate should mention 'Application for JRF position- DST Inspire project' in the email's subject line.

IIT Indore Junior Research Fellowship Selection Process
The institute will initially appoint the selected fellows for six months. However, they may extend the duration up to one year based on their performance. The selection process of the IIT Indore discipline of civil engineering junior research fellowship are as follows:
- After the candidates email their CVs, the committee will select fellows solely based on their academic merit.
- The selection committee will invite the shortlisted candidates for an interview. The organisers will inform the candidates regarding the interview through an email, and it will contain information such as the interview's venue, date and time.
Note: IIT, Indore will not pay the candidates any Travel Allowance (TA) or Dearness Allowance (DA) to attend the interview.
