The Vidya Poshak Yuva fellowship is an initiative to improve the educational quality of the students who are domiciles of Karnataka. The scholarship program aims to provide applicants with opportunities and reward credible students with several awards. The Vidya Poshak Yuva fellowship is for 2 years. Various roles are required during the fellowship, including setting goals and visions for class, preparing lesson plans, facilitating projects and extracurricular activities, etc.

Eligibility Criteria
The Vidya Poshak Yuva fellowship has the following eligibility criteria. Candidates who fulfil the listed criteria can apply for the scholarship scheme.
- Graduation is the minimum qualification required to apply for this fellowship.
- The age of the candidate should be less than 26 years.
- Candidates who have prior experience in any field, especially teaching, would be preferred first.
- Candidates should have good communication and presentation skills.
- Candidates should be passionate about teaching and working with children from rural contexts.
- Candidates should know about Kannada and the English language.
- Applicants should know how to use computers.
- Research and design skills are also required to help create learning materials and lesson plans.
- Applicants should be able to set goals and track progress daily.
Rewards
This fellowship program is initiated to help both students and teachers simultaneously. Under the fellowship program, a maximum stipend of INR 13,000 is provided for their work.
