GATE Geomatics Engineering syllabus 2024 includes topics such as Remote Sensing, Engineering Mathematics, Land Surveying, Aerial Photogrammetry, Data Quantization and Processing and more.
GATE Geomatics Engineering Syllabus consists of the core subject Geomatics Engineering and General Aptitude section. The core subject GATE Geomatics Engineering section is further divided into Part A and Part B.
It is mandatory for the candidates to attempt Part A whereas in Part B, they can choose one between Section I and Section II.
GATE Geomatics Engineering Syllabus
The GATE Geomatics Engineering is a recently introduced subject paper in the examination. The candidates who have chosen Geomatics Engineering as their primary paper can choose any one of Civil Engineering (CE), Geology and Geophysics (GG), Environmental Science & Engineering (ES), or Mining Engineering (MN) as their second paper.

Part A (Mandatory)
The following is the syllabus for Part A which is the mandatory section that candidates must attempt in the GATE Geomatics Engineering question paper.

Part B (Candidates must attend either Section I or Section II)
The Part B of the question paper includes Section I and Section II. The candidates must choose to attempt any of these two sections. Candidates can make the choice during the examination. Prior choices need not be submitted. The GATE syllabus for Section I and Section II of Part B are as follows.
