3. IIT Tirupati
The Indian Ministry of Education established IIT Tirupati in 2015. With assistance from IIT Madras, the institute got underway.

5. IIT Gandhinagar

The Indian Institute of Technology Patna, also known as IITP or IIT Patna, is a public technical university and research institute in Bihta, Bihar. The Indian government has designated it as an Institute of National Importance.
It is one of the IITs from the second generation that were founded on August 6, 2008, by an Act of the Indian Parliament. Located near Bihta, roughly 30 km west of Patna, the permanent campus of IIT Patna has been fully operational since 2015.

7. ISM Dhanbad
The Indian Institute of Technology, Dhanbad, is located in the city of Dhanbad, which is home to the mineral-rich region of India. After IIT Roorkee and IIT (BHU) Varanasi, it is the third-oldest institute that became an IIT.
The Royal School of Mines in London served as the model for the establishment of the British Indian Government, and on December 9, 1926, Lord Irwin, the Viceroy of India at the time, formally opened it. 8. IIT BHU
In 2012, parliamentary legislation established BHU as an institute of national importance. IIT BHU provides graduate and undergraduate courses at different levels.

13. IIT Palakkad

18. IIT Bhilai
On August 7, 2016, the Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai was officially opened by the Honourable Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Raman Singh, and the Honourable Minister for Human Resource Development, Shri Prakash Javedakar. The IIT Bhilai permanent campus is a fully self-sufficient residential campus that will be established gradually over time.
It is projected that the campus will grow to accommodate 12,000 students in 20 years. The current phase of IIT Bhilai's permanent campus, which will house 1200 students and faculty personnel, is being built near Kutelabhata hamlet in Bhilai, District Durg.

19. IIT Kanpur

21. Indian Institute of Science Bangalore
The idea for IISc Bangalore was developed in the late 1800s. Tata Group appointed educationist Burjorji Padshah to head a temporary group tasked with creating a blueprint for the planned institution.
The institute now has over 40 departments spread across six divisions: Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Electrical Sciences, Interdisciplinary Research, Mechanical Sciences, and Physical and Mathematical Sciences. Initially, the college only had two departments: General and Applied Chemistry and Electrical Technology.
