The last date to register for the WB NEET PG counselling ends on Nov 20, 2024. The counselling process of West Bengal NEET PG is conducted for admission to the 50% of MS/MD/MDS state quota seats and PG diploma programs offered by top colleges of West Bengal. ST

West Bengal NEET PG Counselling 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are domiciled in West Bengal or have completed their UG degree program (MBBS/BDS) from a West Bengal-based institution are eligible to apply for the seats under the state quota. 

West Bengal NEET PG MD Counselling 

The eligibility prerequisites to apply for West Bengal NEET PG counselling 2024 are detailed below:

• The candidate must have passed NEET PG 2024 with marks greater than or equal to the cutoff.
• The candidate should have completed MBBS from an MCI-recognised institution.
• The applicant must have completed his/her internship by March 31, 2024.

West Bengal NEET MDS Counselling  

In order to apply for West Bengal NEET MDS counselling, the applicant must comply with the following criteria:

• The candidate must have qualified for NEET PG 2024 with marks greater than or equal to the cutoff.
• The applicant should have cleared BDS from a DCI-recognised institute.
• The candidate should have completed his/her internship by March 31, 2024.

West Bengal NEET PG Counselling 2024 Process

The West Bengal NEET PG counselling 2024 process consists of three rounds. Additionally, a stray up round is conducted if any seats remain vacant post the third round of counselling. The counselling process of West Bengal NEET PG 2024 will involve various stages, as described in the following sections.

Registering Online and Filling Out the Application Form

Candidates who are willing to participate in the West Bengal NEET PG/ NEET MDS counselling must register themselves on the WBMCC official website: wbmcc.nic.in. The following information must be entered for registering on the online portal: 

• Roll number of NEET PG/NEET MDS
• Birth date
• Stream (medical/dental)
• Mobile number

Once candidates enter this information and click on submit button, they can find their All India Rank in the respective exam (NEET PG/NEET MDS). After that, they should provide their internship completion date and the total number of correct answers in NEET PG. 

Candidates will also be required to pay a security money fee to register for the West Bengal NEET PG counselling 2024.

Online Document Verification

Following are some of the important documents that candidates need to provide during the West Bengal NEET PG counselling 2024 process:

• Certificate of Internship Completion 
• Class 10th mark sheet or Birth Certificate (Age proof)
• 2 valid identity proofs (Aadhar card/PassportESIC)

Release of State Merit List

Based on the details furnished by the candidates and the documents submitted by them, the competent authority will release a provisional merit list which includes the names of all the eligible candidates who can participate in the counselling process. West Bengal NEET PG counselling 2024 will be done online for candidates whose names appear on this list.

Choice Filling

Eligible candidates must sign in to their registered accounts to select their desired courses/colleges in the order of preference. Candidates are not limited to how many choices they can submit. 

It is imperative, however, that candidates do thorough research about the college/course for which they intend to apply. They should also check the fee structure of the institutions before making a choice.

Seat Allotment List

The result of every round conducted through the West Bengal NEET PG counselling 2024 process will be displayed as a seat allotment list. Candidates can log into their registered accounts to check if they have been assigned a seat. The seat allotment list is prepared on the basis of the choices selected by the candidates and the marks secured by them in NEET PG 2024.

Reporting to the College

Candidates who are satisfied with their allocated seats need to confirm their admission by reporting to the designated institutes in person. They must also carry all the necessary documents along with 2 attested photocopies for the verification process. Once they receive the admission letter, candidates are required to pay the academic fee to complete the admission process.
