- Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET): This exam is organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education for Applicants wishing to join Central Government Schools such as NVS / KVS / Tibetan School, etc. as Teachers. It's an All-India Entrance Exam conducted every year, with most states using CTET resuls as basis for when they do not administer the Teacher Eligibility Test.

- Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE): It is a standard entrance exam administered to screen candidates for admissions to BE/BTech, BMath, and BPlanning courses at various NITs, IIITs and other participating institutions. It's also the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced. Admissions are made online.
- JEE Advanced: Only applicants qualifying for JEE Main may appear for JEE Advanced. The exam is conducted for admissions to undergraduate engineering programs in prestigious IITs, IISc, ISM Dhanbad and a few other institutes, Like it's junior, admissions are made online.
- Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE): GATE is jointly administered by the Indian Institute of Science. PSUs also use GATE Ratings for recruitment purposes.

- National Eligibility cum Entry Test (NEET): This is a pre-medical entrance exam to select MBBS / BDS candidates for colleges across India.
- All India Institutes of Medical Science Test (AIIMST): This test is performed to select candidates for the MBBS / BDS programs in the AIIMS.
- Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER): It is a national level entrance exam conducted for admissions to PG courses for MD (Doctor of Medicine) & MS (Master of Surgery). The officials announce the eligibility criteria, and candidates can apply accordingly.
List of Competitive Exams in Fashion and Design Fields
- National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Entry Test: This exam will secure admissions to NIFT Design, Management of Technology. Candidates who have passed Class 12 and completed their graduation are eligible and may also apply for this exam. The application can be sent via online and by mail.
- All-India Entrance Examination for Design (AIEED): It is for admissions to 4-year undergraduate-level programmes in design. Students of Classes 11 and 12 are also eligible for this Exam. The application process is online.
- National Institute of Design: It is for admission to the 4-year Graduate Diploma Program in Design or 2.5-year Post-Graduate Diploma Program in Design. Eligibility: Candidates who have passed Class 12 and even graduated may apply. Applications made only by mail are accepted.
List of Competitive Exams in Agriculture and Hotel Management
- Indian Council of Agricultural Research ICAR AIEEA-UG-PG: ICAR is responsible for conducting entrance examinations for admissions to UG, PG & PhD Courses in AUs, and for granting scholarships and fellowships to the NTA from 2019 onwards. Candidates can apply online.
- National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam (NCHMCT JEE): It's a national level examination conducted once a year by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admissions to hospitality undergraduate courses. The NCHMCT was established earlier. The examination will be conducted sometime after May 2021.

- Common-Law Admission Test: It is for admission in B.A. LL.B, B.Com. (Hons). BBA LL.B (Hons) courses in India. Applications are accepted via mail & online.
- All-India Law Entry Test (AILET): admission to B.A., LL.B. (Hons.), LLM, PhD Students of Classes 12+, LLB, LLM are qualified for the test. The application process is done by mail or online.

- National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD): NABARD is conducting this admissions test for the candidates who want to appear for competitive exams after graduation, seeking positions as Development Officers and others in the bank.
- IBPS PO / Management Trainee Exams: IBPS PO CVE is a national bank PO exam administered by the Institute of Bank Personnel Selection (IBPS) to employ PO and MT in public sector banks.
- IBPS Clerk Exams: This clerical entrance test is conducted for the recruitment of public and private sector bank clerks, except for the SBI.
- SBI PO Exams: State Bank of India is conducting this selection examination for probationary officers (POs). Candidates who have graduated from any stream can appear for this exam.

- ICICI PO Exams: ICICI Bank PO Exams are for Indian Nationals for appointment as Probation Officer. ICICI Bank Probationary Officers Recruitment involves a one-year selection training course.

- Common Admission Test (CAT): Every year, CAT is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) for admissions to post-graduate courses. There are 20 IIM's and more than 1000 B-schools across India that accept CAT scores. Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or an equivalent CGPA from a recognized university or educational institute to apply for CAT.
- Common Management Admission Test (CMAT): CMAT is a national-level examination conducted approved by AICTE for admission to MBA, PGDM, Executive PGDM, and PGCM courses. Candidates applying for this examination should have passed their bachelor's. There is no age limit for CMAT.
- Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT): XAT is conducted by XLRI (Xavier Labour Relations Institute), Jamshedpur. It is a national-level examination for post-graduate management courses. B-Schools of Xavier's group and other significant B-schools in India accept XAT scores.
