CUET Reservation Criteria 2025 for the general category candidates is 10% of the reservation percentage. Moreover, for students belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and PwD categories, the percentage of seats reserved is 15%, 7.5%, 27%, and 5%, respectively.

The CUET 2025 reservation criteria were declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on its official portal. Post the result announcement of CUET 2025, the admissions will take place for top colleges in accordance with the CUET reservation criteria 2025 specified by NTA.

  • Rise in the number of applications for various courses by up to 5%
  • Kashmiri migrants are eligible to get an extension of the test date by approximately 30 days.

  • Provision to migrate in the second year and beyond that.

CUET Reservation Criteria 2025 for Persons with Disabilities

Only candidates who possess a disability of more than 40% can apply under CUET reservation criteria 2025. Those candidates who have any of the below-mentioned conditions shall be able eligible to apply under this category.

  • Candidates who are blind or have an eyesight impairment
  • Students who are hard of hearing or are deaf
  • Applicants who possess multiple disabilities, including issues with joints, muscles, bones, etc.
  • Students who are dwarfs or acid attack survivors
  • Those who have undergone leprosy treatment/muscular dystrophy/cerebral palsy

Students belonging to the PwD category are provided with the Scribe facility by NTA to appear for the entrance examination. Eligible candidates can opt for this facility while entering details in the application form.

How to Apply for CUET 2025 Quota-Based Admission

Candidates who wish to get admission through CUET reservation criteria 2025 must bear in mind the following points:

  • While completing the CUET 2025 application form, candidates willing to apply for quota-based admission must choose the desired quota under the CUET reservation criteria 2025.
  • No documented proof is required during the application form-filling process.
  • All the valid supporting documents, such as caste certificate, income certificate, PwD certificate, etc., must be presented during the admission & trials.
  • Without furnishing the relevant proof, admission will not be provided under CUET 2025 reservation policy.

Aspirants from reserved categories like ST, SC, and OBC-NCL must furnish the reservation certificate. Two important things must be ensured-

  • This certificate should have been issued on/after April 1, 2022

CUET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must note the following points related to the eligibility criteria for CUET 2025.

  • There are no criteria with respect to age for candidates in order to apply for CUET.
  • The candidate must have completed 10+2 or equivalent to be eligible to apply for UG programs. Depending on the course being applied for, the subjects required are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.
  • To apply for PG programs, general category candidates should have completed graduation in the relevant fields with at least 55% marks. ST/OBC/SC category students must hold a UG degree with 45% total marks.
  • The Government of India provides 5% relaxation to students from the reserved categories.
