DU Merit List 2023 Calculation

The Delhi University calculates course-specific merit scores depending on the candidate’s eligibility criteria. Moreover, candidates must confirm their scores prior to filling in their preferences. Further, DU merit list calculation is done based on three lists: List A, List B1 or B2.

List A: Languages of Section 1A Section 1 B of CUET UG 2023

At least one of the following given languages must be chosen by the candidate from List A:

List B: Domain-specific Subjects given in Section II of CUET UG 2023

Candidates must consider the program-specific eligibility criteria to select subjects from List B. This list is further divided into B1, which covers 18 subjects and B2, which involves 9 subjects.

Important Points for DU Spot Admission 2023

The following are a few essential points that candidates must know in order to apply for DU admission through the spot round.

• Students must go to the DU CSAS candidate’s portal & choose the ‘Spot Admission’ option given on the dashboard to apply for DU spot admission.
• The list of remaining seats will be displayed by the university for each course during the spot admission. Only one program must be selected by the candidate from the list.
• It must be noted that candidates will not get the ‘Upgrade’ or ‘Withdraw’ option at the time of the spot admission process. 
• Students who get a seat in the DU spot admission round must accept it mandatorily.
