1. Jadavpur University

2. MAKAUT
MAKAUT or Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology was set up by the Government of West Bengal in the year 1980 under the Chairmanship of Ashesh Prasad Mitra. The idea was to explore all segments of society by means of technology. Students can choose to study at various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate levels from 15 Engineering courses available at the university.

3. Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute Of Engineering & Technology
Established in 2010 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, the Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute aims to create a multi-layered interdisciplinary and intersectoral efficient professional technical manpower.
GKCIET provides a total of nine full-time and diploma Engineering courses that require admission through WBJEE. Aliah University came into existence during the years 2008-09 by the efforts of the Department of Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education, Government of West Bengal. The vision of the university is to nurture students with a focus on their intellectual and cultural development.

Offering courses in Agricultural Engineering, the Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswa Vidyalaya or Bidhan Chandra Agricultural University focuses on the development of agricultural education, research, and more.
