IIT JAM Seats 2024: The total number of IIT JAM seats 2024 is approximately 3,000 postgraduate seats available across 21 IITs in India for the academic year 2024-25.
JAM scores will also be used for admission to more than 2,000 seats in PG programs, including MSc and MA, at institutions such as IISc, various NITs, IIEST Shibpur, SLIET, and DIAT through the Centralized Counselling for MSc/MSc (Tech.) Admission (CCMN).
The official seat matrix for IIT JAM 2024 will be released by IIT Madras on the official website.

IIT JAM Seat Allotment Process 2024
IIT JAM seats 2024 will be allotted to all the candidates who qualified for the exams. The IIT JAM seats 2024 allotment process starts the centralised admission process. The detailed discussion is as follows:
- Submission of Application Form: Candidates must visit the official website of IIT JAM, fill in the choice of courses and submit. The whole process is conducted online, and the required admission fee must be paid.
- Publication of Admission List: Once the candidates submit the application, the authorities will publish the admission list. The candidates can choose from the three following categories:
- Accept and freeze
- Accept and upgrade
- Reject and Quit
- Securing the IIT JAM Seats 2024: Candidates who get IIT JAM seats 2024 must report to the colleges on the assigned date. Submit all the documents required to complete the admission process.
Additionally, candidates are required to pay the remaining admission fee.
