IIT JAM exam centres 2025 list is released on the official website for each zone by IIT Madras. Aspirants willing to appear for the exam must go through the list of exam centers in each zone before filling in their choice in the application form. IIT JAM 2025 exam centers are available in 8 different exam zones including, 103 cities and their corresponding city codes.

Further, IIT JAM 2025 application form window will be activated by Sep 2025. While filling out the application form, candidates can select three IIT JAM exam center 2025 for IIT JAM 2025 as per their preferences. However, the IIT JAM exam date 2025 has been scheduled for Feb 2, 2025.

How to Check the IIT JAM 2025 Allotted Exam Centre

Candidates can check for the IIT JAM 2025 allotted center once the admit card is released. The exam center, exam center code, and some other details related to the examination will be shared on the admit card. However, it is expected that the IIT JAM 2025 hall ticket will be issued on the official website by Jan 2025.

• Candidates cannot change the test center within the same city he/she opted for earlier.
• Candidates must send the request for changing the exam centers through the JOAPS portal along with the fee of INR 500.
• Aspirants can request to change the test centers, but the ultimate decision lies with the authorities.

JAM Exam Centre 2025 Important Points

Candidates must read all the necessary instructions before reaching the exam center as mentioned below. Authorities allow changing the test centers only under exceptional cases. Therefore, candidates must fill out the IIT JAM 2025 application form carefully.

• Candidates are given three options to choose from when submitting their JAM application form to select their IIT JAM exam center.
• IIT JAM exam center 2025 is then assigned by the council based on the preferences of the candidate.
• The zone is established when they select the first city, and they can only select the other two cities from that zone.
• There are one or more IIT JAM exam centers in the exam city for the IIT JAM 2025.
• Requests to change the city or town after the center has been assigned will only be granted in extreme cases.
• In all 8 zones, 103 cities are available for selection as the IIT JAM exam centers.
• Any test center can be added or removed by the JAM organizing committee from the IIT JAM 2025 exam center list.
• Aspirants should select their three preferred test centers while filling out the application form. JAM Committee then allocates the centers based on the candidate's choices.
• Aspirants must choose two cities from the same IIT JAM zone and can choose a third city from another zone.

IIT JAM Exam Day Instructions

Aspirants must follow all the crucial instructions and guidelines before entering IIT JAM exam centres 2025. Following are the instructions to be kept in mind before entering the examination centers.

• Applicants must visit the allotted test centers at least one day before IIT JAM 2025 to avoid any last-minute issues.
• Aspirants must carry their admit cards to the test centers, or else they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall by the invigilators.
• Candidates do not carry any electronic media like mobile phones, digital watches, laptops, etc.
• The candidate must carry valid ID proof such as an Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, and Driving License with the latest photograph on it at the exam centre.
• Aspirants must not carry any paper, books, etc. Candidates will get scribble pads from the authorities for rough work.
