Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Courses
There are some specific KCET 2023 eligibility criteria to be satisfied to apply for KCET 2023 and enrol in engineering courses.
- The candidates must have completed their 12th grade or equivalent from a recognized board or authority in the subjects of physics, chemistry and biology/mathematics
- Candidates should have received a minimum of 45% in PCM/PCB subjects
- There is a relaxation of 40% for the reserved categories
Eligibility Criteria for Other Courses
Check out the eligibility requirements for other courses like B.Pharma, BVSc & A.H., BArch, and BDS/ MBBS/ AYUSH.
- For B.Pharma: The candidate must have passed class 12th with 45% marks in physics, chemistry, mathematics/ biology. For SC/STs, there is a 5% relaxation
- B.V.Sc. & A.H: Candidates must have 50% marks in PCB and English in 12th grade. 5% of relaxation for the SC/ ST category
- B.Arch: Candidates must have received class 12th with 50% marks. Mathematics should be a mandatory subject. Candidates must hold a valid scorecard of JEE Main or NATA
- BDS/ MBBS/ AYUSH Courses: Candidates must have passed 12th with 50% marks in PCB with English as a compulsory subject. And also a valid scorecard of NEET
KCET Exam Pattern 2023
KCET 2023 will be a 1 hour 20 minutes test with 180 marks. The exam questions will be based on the following KCET 2023 exam pattern:
