Karnataka DCET 2025 application process will begin from Apr 24, 2025, and will be available till May 10, 2025. The authorities will release the Karnataka DCET application form 2025 online on the official website at kea.kar.nic.in. The Karnataka DCET exam date 2025 has been released along with the official notification. The Karnataka DCET 2025 exam will be conducted in various DCET 2025 exam centres on May 31, 2025

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) conducts the Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET). The candidates who qualify for the exam will be eligible to get admission to post-diploma in various Engineering colleges of Karnataka. Candidates need not appear for DCET 2025 for lateral admission to Architecture programs. However, they must have valid NATA scores for B.Arch admission.

About DCET 2025

The full form of DCET is Diploma Common Entrance Test. Karnataka Examination Authority conducts the DCET every year. Qualifying candidates are shortlisted for 2nd-year undergraduate Engineering and 1st-year Architecture programs. DCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Karnataka Education Authority sets the Karnataka DCET 2025 eligibility criteria. Candidates need to know about the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. Below is the information regarding eligibility for various courses.

DCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria for BE Courses (Day/Evening Engineering Colleges)

The candidates must have passed the diploma from a recognized university with 45% marks. For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the minimum passing mark is 40%.The candidates must also have full-time work experience for 2 years from a recognized government or private firm/company/industry

DCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria for B.Arch Courses (Day Engineering College)

The candidates should have secured at least 40% in NATA 2025 conducted by the Council of Architecture. All applicants must have qualified for the final diploma exam (or equivalent) with at least 50% aggregate marks combined. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC, native to Karnataka, require 45% marks.

DCET 2025 Application Form

Karnataka DCET application form 2025 submission window will be released soon by the authorities on the official website. Interested candidates can register and submit their application forms from Apr 24, 2025, till May 10, 2025. KEA will conduct the Karnataka DCET 2025 exam to provide admission to 2nd-year/3rd-semester undergraduate degree programs in the Engineering stream.

How to Fill DCET Application Form 2025?

While filling out the DCET 2025 application form on the official website, candidates must fill in all the required details. All documents should be uploaded in the prescribed format only. Candidates can access the application form only after registration and the offline application fee payment.

  • Step 3: Candidates must then click on the 'New Registration' tab.
  • Step 4: They must fill in all details and register. A login ID and password will be sent through the registered mail or mobile number on successful registration.
  • Step 5: Candidates must log in using the credentials and enter the required information on the application form.
  • Step 6: They must then upload all needed documents.
  • Step 7: They must also upload a recent passport-sized photograph, parent's signature, and left thumb impression.
  • Step 8: After filling out the application form, candidates must cross-check the filed details, submit the application form
  • Step 9: Candidates must then pay the application fee.
  • Step 10: Finally, candidates must take a printout of the application form and the fee receipt for future reference.

DCET application fee can be paid both online and offline. The candidates can pay the application fee for appearing in DCET 2025 through one of the available modes of payment.
