Karnataka DCET 2023 Rank Card

Karnataka DCET 2023 rank card contains all the details of a candidate participating in the DCET 2023 exam such as name of the candidate, registration number, roll number, marks achieved, category and many more. The rank card will be released on the official website by the official authority.

The rank card will help candidates for taking admissions in Engineering, Architecture programs offered by different Institutes and Colleges of Karnataka. It will help candidates to make an overview of the marks achieved in different subjects.

Karnataka DCET 2023 Merit List

After the declaration of the result, KEA will prepare a merit list that contains the names of all the candidates who have qualified for the exam. The qualifying and the cut-off marks vary for each category. Candidates scoring the highest marks top the merit list.

All further application processes such as counseling and seat allotment will be based on this merit list. The merit list will consist of the following details such as Cut Off marks, total marks obtained, total applicants, number of seats available, etc.

Karnataka DCET Tie-Breaking Criteria 2023

Candidates scoring the same marks are given a higher rank based on the tie-breaking criteria. The criteria is fixed by the KEA. Karnataka DCET 2023 tie-breaking norms based on preference are below.

• An inter-se-merit will be calculated based on the secured merit.
• If the tie still persists, the older candidate is awarded a higher rank.
• Candidate's marks achieved in the entrance test will be calculated.
• Candidate's marks scored in the 2nd year examination will be considered.
• Candidate's marks scored in the 1st year examination will be considered.
• Age factor for both the candidate's will also be considered.
• A seperate merit list will be prepared for the following colleges:
  • Day Engineering College Courses.
  • Evening Engineering College Courses (Bangalore).
  • Evening Engineering College Courses (Mysore).

What After DCET Results 2023?

DCET rank list 2023 pdf will be published soon on the official website. Furthermore, candidates who qualified for the DCET exam 2023 will proceed for the counseling conducted in various rounds. Candidates who are selected will have to register for the counseling process, once the dates and official registration portal are available.

Based on the overall ranking achieved in the DCET 2023, candidates will be allotted with seats at different colleges.
