DCET Seat Allotment 2024 list will be published by the Karnataka Examinations Authority on Jul 15, 2024. Karnataka DCET mock seat allotment results will be released after 6 p.m. on Jul 15, 2024. All applicants who have been assigned seats may add, change, reorder, or eliminate their options. DCET 2024 seat allotment results will be announced around 6 p.m.

DCET Seat Allotment 2024 Date

DCET Seat Allotment 2024 results will be released tentatively in Nov 2024 by the KEA. The exam authorities will first release a DCET 2024 Mock Seat Allotment and then later the DCET 2024 Seat Allotment final results.

KEA releases a mock seat allotment to give the candidates an idea of their potential college based on their choices and rank. The candidates can use this to refine their final college preferences.

DCET Seat Allotment 2024 Process

Cracking the DCET exam is just the first step. Securing a seat in the desired college is equally important. Options Process
Choice 1 Through this option, the candidates who have been allocated seats can accept the seat allotment and pay the admission fee.
These candidates would not be able to take part in subsequent rounds of counselling.
Choice 2 Candidates who have been allocated a seat and want a better allotment in Round 2 can choose this option.
In such cases, seats allotted in Round 1 will not be cancelled.
If the candidate gets a better allotment in Round 2, he/she can accept it and cancel the seat allotted in Round 1
Candidates choosing Choice 2 will have to pay the seat acceptance fee.
Choice 3 Through this option, candidates who are not satisfied with seat allotment can surrender the seat and participate in Round 2.
Candidates choosing this option will not have any right to the seat allocated in Round 1.
Choice 4 Candidates who wish to surrender seats and withdraw from all rounds of counselling can choose this option.

DCET Seat Allotment 2024 Counselling

If the candidate is allotted a seat in DCET seat allotment 2024, then she/he will need to participate in the counselling process. This will be mentioned in the DCET 2024 seat allotment list pdf.

This involves visiting the allotted college (or designated counselling centre) for document verification and fee payment. Attending counselling is mandatory to confirm the seat. DCET seat allotment 2nd round and DCET seat allotment 3rd round will be scheduled if applicable.

  • Registration: The candidates have to register for the DCET 2024 counselling process by filling out their choice of college and course as per their preference.

  • DCET Admit Card 2024
  • DCET 2024 entrance exam downloaded application form
  • Final printout of the Original copy or proof will be required of the Challan made at the time of fee payment
  • Scorecard/Marksheet of diploma or equivalent for all semesters/years
  • Class 10th and 12th Mark sheets and Certificates (original and copies)
  • Diploma Certificate (original and copies)
  • Category/Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Migration Certificate (if applicable)
  • Two Passport-sized photographs
  • In case the candidate is from Karnataka she/he needs to show the study certificate countersigned by the concerned BEO / DDPI
  • Rural Study Certificate will be required if a candidate claims to be under the rural category reservation
  • Candidates need to show the Kannada Medium Study Certificate to avail Kannada Medium quota
