Maharashtra NEET PG merit list 2023 was released by the conducting body, State Common Entrance Test Cell, on Aug 17, 2023. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2023 was held on Mar 5, 2023. The exam offers admission to postgraduate medical programmes (MS/MD/PG Diploma) in Maharashtra’s government and private medical institutions.

Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra NEET PG Admission 2023
Only qualified and eligible candidates will be included in the Maharashtra NEET PG merit list 2023. The NEET PG eligibility criteria for Maharashtra NEET PG counselling are as follows.
- Candidates must have achieved the minimum qualifying marks in the NEET PG 2023 examination.
- Candidates must have pursued the UG medical programmes (MBBS/BDS) in the medical institutions of Maharashtra.
- MCI or NMC recognised degree (MBBS/BDS) certificate.
- Must have completed the 12-month rotatory internship before 31 March 2023.
- Candidates must be registered members of the NMC or SMC and possess proof of the same.
- Indian nationality.
NOTE
- Non-resident Indians (NRI) are eligible only for the 15% NRI quota seats in unaided private/ minority medical colleges.
- Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are not eligible for Maharashtra PG medical counselling 2023.

Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling 2023
The Maharashtra NEET PG counselling is conducted across two main rounds, followed by a mop-up round. 50% of the state quota seats and 100% of seats of the private colleges are allotted admissions through the counselling rounds. The steps to follow to register for Maharashtra counselling are as follows.
- Step 1: Visit the official website.
- Step 2: In the link relevant to Maharashtra NEET PG counselling, log in with the required credentials.
- Step 3: Fill out the form with the required details and submit the relevant documents.
- Step 4: Pay the registration and counselling fee with any one of the payment methods given.
- Step 5: In the choice filling session, choose the colleges you prefer to attend. The choice filling can be done multiple times before the last date.
- Step 6: Once the candidates are sure about their choices, they must lock them and submit the same.
- Step 7: Download both registration and choice filling forms for further procedures.
- Step 8: When allotted seats, candidates must report to the allotted college, do the document verification and confirm their admission.
