The Bengal School of Technology & Management [BSTM], Hooghly has been established by the Supreme Educational Development & Charitable Organisation [SEDCO]. This organisation is the same one that administers SKFGI Group of Institutions and Bengal School of Technology, a leading Pharmacy College of West Bengal. BSTM is affliated to the Moulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology [formerly WBUT]. MAKAUT oversees all the technical colleges of WB.

Each degree course is of three years' duration. The tuition fees for the BCA course is INR 1,64,750 for the three years and INR 25250 per semester. The BBA degree course amounts to INR 1,58,750 over three years (INR 24,250 per semester) while the B.Sc would amount to INR 2,10,000 (INR 32,500 per semester).

The Prospectus can be purchased from the college for INR 500. On the basis of performance in the Common Entrance Test [CET] selected students can fill up the form and then get registered with the MAKAUT. Admission can be done online by filling the form.
