The Bengal School of Technology & Management [BSTM], Hooghly has been established by the Supreme Educational Development & Charitable Organisation [SEDCO]. This organisation is the same one that administers SKFGI Group of Institutions and Bengal School of Technology, a leading Pharmacy College of West Bengal. BSTM is affliated to the Moulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology [formerly WBUT]. MAKAUT oversees all the technical colleges of WB.

Bengal School of Technology & Management has the noble aim to provide the best possible infrastructure so as to create a stimulating academic environment for education and research. By developing strong Industry-Institute interaction, it intends to ensure good placement for its students.
BSTM Hooghly offers courses in hospitality and computer applications besides management. It is located in the heritage area of Chinsurah in Hooghly district.

Bengal School of Technology and Management Fee Structure:

Each degree course is of three years' duration. The tuition fees for the BCA course is INR 1,64,750 for the three years and INR 25250 per semester. The BBA degree course amounts to INR 1,58,750 over three years (INR 24,250 per semester) while the B.Sc would amount to INR 2,10,000 (INR 32,500 per semester).

Bengal School of Technology and Management Eligibility Criteria:

The BBM, BCA and B.Sc in HHM are non-AICTE courses and hence candidates must follow the MAKAUT Rules as follows. Education loan facility is conditional upon the same.

Bengal School of Technology and Management Admission:

The Prospectus can be purchased from the college for INR 500. On the basis of performance in the Common Entrance Test [CET] selected students can fill up the form and then get registered with the MAKAUT. Admission can be done online by filling the form. Students can avail BSTM Scholarships as provided by various bodies like the Kanyashree scheme and Swami Vivekananda Scholarship.

BSTM's hostels are located on campus and the rooms are allotted on shared basis. Bengal School of Technology and Management facilities are available as follows:

• The rooms have attached bath and all comfortable furnishings.
• They are separate for boys and girls.

• The hostel fee is INR 4500 per month.
