Deshbandhu College, Delhi was established in 1952 by the Ministry of Rehabilitation. The college has been named after the urbane freedom fighter LalaDeshbandhu Gupta. Deshbandhu is the oldest and the largest co-educational institution in South Delhi. • The student must have passed the qualifying examination with 50% of marks in Mathematics along with 55% of marks in Physics/Chemistry/Biotechnology as one of the subjects.

BA Eligibility Criteria:

• The student must have passed the qualifying examination with language English/Hindi/Sanskrit along with Mathematics/subjects concerned for a particular course with a minimum of 45% of marks. 
• Applicants who have passed an intermediate examination of an Indin University/Board shall be eligible for the BA Sanskrit course.

B.Com Eligibility Criteria:

• The student must have passed the qualifying examination with the subject Mathematics/Business Management with a minimum of 45% aggregate of marks.
