Eligibility Criteria for MA:

• Master of Arts (Mass Communication) MAMS with CET Code 106 is available.
• Master of Arts (English) or MAENG with CET Code 113 is available.
• Master of Arts (Criminology) or MACRIM with CET Code 118 is available.
• Master of Arts (Conservation, Preservation and Heritage Management) or MAHERIT with CET Code 141 is available.
• Master of Arts (Archaeology and Heritage Management) or MAHERIT with CET Code 141 is Available.
• Master of Arts (Economics) or MAECO with CET Code 162 is available.

Master of Arts (Mass Communication) MAMS Eligibility:

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University with an aggregate of 50% marks.

MAMS CET Exam Pattern:

i. Communication Skills- English (30%)
ii. Current Affairs- (20%)
iii. General Knowledge- (20%)
iv. Mass Media (Print/ TV/ Radio/ Film/ New Media)- (30%)

Master of Arts (English) or MAENG Eligibility:

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University with an aggregate of 50% marks.

• The admission test to M.A. (English) Programme shall have two parts:
  a. Part One shall be MCQ based (with 100 questions / 400 marks)
  b. Part Two shall be an essay writing test evaluation of the creative, critical, analytic and writing skills (200 marks).
• Admission shall be on the basis of the merit of the written test /CET.

Master of Arts (Criminology) or MACRIM Eligibility:

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University with an aggregate of 50% marks. Exam Pattern is:

i. General Knowledge
ii. General Proficiency in English (Class 12th Standard)
iii. Elementary knowledge of Social Science.
iv. Understanding different faces of human behaviour

Master of Arts (Conservation, Preservation and Heritage Management)/Master of Arts (Archaeology and Heritage Management) or MAHERIT Eligibility:

Graduate with a 3 years degree course in any subject ofHumanities, Commerce or Sciences (those appearing in the 3rd-year final exam may also apply.

CET Exam Pattern for MAHERIT is:

i. Indian History, Culture & Archaeology

iii. Heritage Tourism

iv. Basic Science (12th Standard)
v. General Knowledge
vi. Current Affairs
vii. General Reasoning
viii. Geography & Natural Heritage
ix. Management of Heritage
x. Heritage Conservation

Master of Arts (Economics) or MAECO Eligibility:

Bachelor degree in Economics or equivalent from a University recognized by the UGC with a minimum of 50% of marks.

Exam Pattern for MAECO is:

(i) Statistical & Mathematical Methods and Introductory Econometrics (30%)
(ii) Economic Theory (Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Economics, Development Economics and Monetary Economics (70%)

Master of Arts Admission Procedure:

• There will be offline counselling for MA.
