RV College of Engineering BE course offers 15 specialisations across disciplines such as Computer Science & Engineering and Information Science & Engineering. The BE course is offered only in regular format with a duration of 4 years.
Admission to BE specialisations is based on JEE Main/ KCET/ COMEDK scores/ ranks. Upon the counseling, the seats are allocated to students at RVCE. KCET 2023 results are expected to be announced on June 12, 2023 and the COMEDK 2023 results are to be released on June 10, 2023.

RV College of Engineering BE Eligibility Criteria
RVCE BE eligibility criteria are 70% in 10th and 60% in 10+2 in Maths and Science subjects separately. However, the eligibility criteria may differ for students applying for certain specializations. RV College of Engineering will also consider the scores/ ranks of JEE Main/ KCET/ COMEDK for admission purposes.

Admission to the RVCE BE course is based on the scores/ ranks in national and state level entrance exams like JEE Main, KCET, and COMEDK.
Application Procedure
Students seeking admission to RVCE can apply either through the official website or through KCET/ COMEDK counselling. The application process for applying through KCET/ COMEDK is given below.
- Canidates have to apply and appear for KCET or COMEDK entrance exam.
- Candidates with a valid score can appear for the KCET/ COMEDK counselling.
- Candidates have to choose the RV College of Engineering as the preferred college.
- Seats will be allotted based on the candidate's score and category.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Although the boys hostel is built within the campus, the girls hostel is spread across multiple locations in Bangalore where one is close to the college campus and one is in Jayanagar. A college bus is provided for students living in the hostels, but the travel time could be a setback due to the Bangalore traffic. However, students from 2nd year onwards usually move to PG's that are closer to the campus. Variety of food for breakfast and lunch is available at the main canteen while you also have a small canteen for snacks at affordable rates.

Placements & Internships : Placements are really good almost 80% of all students get placed in their desired company. The average salary for my course is around INR 6 lakhs. The highest salary was INR 14 lakhs. In the 2018 batch. The alumni network is strong and very informative and influential.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : To be eligible you have to complete your +2 with a good p percentage. You can apply through CET, COMEDK or management quota. Your rank in COMEDK or CET should be less than 2000.
Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is around INR 1.6 lakhs per year. There are many government scholarships available. No loans are needed.
Academics & Faculty : The daily routine is fixed and completed on time. The quality of teaching is one of the best. The overall experience is a 10/10.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are hostels for all 4years for both boys and girls on campus. The hostel fee is around INR 25000 per year.
