Table of Contents
Allahabad University PGAT Exam Pattern 2024 is specified by the university every year. As per the latest exam pattern, the exam will consist of 150 questions, carrying 300 marks. The questions will be MCQ type and the duration of the PGAT 2024 exam is two hours.
For each correct answer, the candidate will be awarded 2 marks while 0.5 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions. The exam will be conducted in English language only.
Allahabad University PGAT Exam Pattern 2024
Candidates who are required to go through PGAT Syllabus 2024 and the Allahabad University PGAT Exam Pattern 2024 if they are planning to give PGAT 2024 exam.
- Mode: Allahabad University PGAT 2024 will be conducted online i.e. Computer-based Test (CBT) as well as offline i.e. Pen & Paper-based Test (PBT)
- Question Type: The format of the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ's)
- Questions & Marks: The question paper will comprise of 100 for set 1 and 150 for set 2 questions and the total marks awarded to them are 200 for set 1 and 300 for set 2.
- No. of Questions: Candidates have to attend two sets of question paper based on the subject chosen.

Set 1: If a candidate opted for one subject then they have to attend 100 questions (50 compulsory questions and 50 opted subject questions in 90 minutes)

Set 2: If a candidate opted for two subjects then they have to attend 150 questions (50 compulsory questions, 50 opted subject 1 questions, 50 opted subject 2 questions in 120 minutes)

Note: 50 compulsory questions are from General Awareness, General English, General Hindi, and Mental Ability.

PGAT Syllabus 2024
PGAT 2024 Syllabus and Allahabad University PGAT Exam Pattern 2024 are considered as crucial for candidates to know before preparing for the exam. The syllabus for PGAT 2024 will be based on topics related to there previous qualifying exam i.e. bachelor's degree.
