BITS HD counselling 2023 will begin soon after the results are released. BITS HD 2023 (Birla Institute of Technical Science Higher Degree) exam offers admission to M.E./M.Pharm./M.Phil. in several specializations in their three respective campuses: BITS Pilani, BITS Goa, and BITS Hyderabad.
BITS HD is one of the most popular exams for PG aspirants, nationwide. BITS HD 2023 offers admissions not just in M.Tech/M.E. courses but M.Sc, M.Pharm courses as well. Students who have a valid GATE/GPAT score need not appear for BITS HD 2023. They can apply with their GATE/GPAT score only.
BITS HD 2023 Counselling
After the declaration of the result on, merit list/admission offer will be put out by Birla Institute of Technology and Science on its official website. This merit list is based on the candidates' relative performance in the BITS HD 2023. The cut off list will be out after the BITS HD 2023 Result
Candidates will have to appear for counselling according to the dates given out and based on their BITS HD 2023 result and admission offer. Cut off, decided by the Admission Committee will be published on their official website which will be the basis for counselling procedure.
50% of the seats in each of the programme will be filled through GATE/GPAT scores and rest 50% of seats by BITS HD test marks. The not-filled seats of one category will be allocated to the other category. The Admission Committee decision in this regard will be final and will be binding to all.
BITS HD 2023 Counselling: Important Points
- BITS HD Candidates will be asked well in advance to list the campuses of their preference in the desired order.
- BITS HD Counselling will be conducted in 4 iterations for candidates seeking admission through GATE and GPAT scores.
- Candidates who do not complete the BITS HD counselling procedures on the specified date and time with the required documents will not be granted admission.
- During the BITS HD counselling, candidates will get an opportunity to choose their preferred college and course, based on their merit and availability of seat in the specific programme in the desired campus.
- Advance Fee Payment: The candidates seeking admission through GATE and GPAT scores have an option to make the advance fee payment.
Documents for BITS HD 2023 Counselling
The original and self-attested copy of the following documents have to be presented at the time of counselling:
- Class 10th Mark sheet
- Class 12th Mark sheet
- Marksheet of all the semesters of graduating degree.
- BITS Counselling Offer letter
- GATE/GPAT Scorecard (if applicable)
- BITS HD exam 2023 Scorecard (if applicable)
- BITS HD Exam Admit Card (if applicable)
- Application fee payment receipt
- Aadhar card
- Recent Passport size photograph
BITS HD Choice Filling
There are some specialisation courses under BITS HD programme, the exam for some courses can be the same, depending upon the degree of graduation. Candidates will be allotted seats upon merit in BITS HD exam.
