JoSAA counselling 2024 seat allotment for Round 3 will be released on Jul 4, 2024.
JoSAA registration 2024 and the choice-filling process is underway on the official website at josaa.nic.in. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) announced the dates for the JoSAA 2024 registration procedure. The last date to register and fill in their choices is Jun 18, 2024.
This year, the authority will undertake the JoSAA 2024 seat distribution process in five stages. Only students who have qualified for JEE Main 2024 and JEE Advanced 2024 will be eligible for JoSAA counselling 2024 registration.

Steps to Register for JoSAA 2024
Candidates can complete the JoSAA counselling 2024 form and state their course and institutional preferences on the official website. Only those candidates who have passed JEE Main and JEE Advanced 2024 are allowed to register for JoSAA 2024 counselling.

The steps listed below must be followed by all applicants in order to register and complete the JoSAA 2024 counselling form.
- Step 1: Candidates must visit the official website at josaa.nic.in.
- Step 2: Click on the "JoSAA Counselling Registration" link.
- Step 3: Candidates must enter their JEE Main 2024/JEE Advanced 2024 application number and password on the new window before clicking the submit button.
- Step 4: A new window with all the candidate's information (as entered in JEE Main/JEE Advanced) will be displayed after the details have been submitted. Candidates must carefully double-check all the information before changing their passwords.
- Step 5: Candidates will only be permitted to modify their contact information during the JoSAA counselling registration in 2024. During registration, candidates must provide a working phone number or email address.
- Step 6: Students must double-check all the information before clicking the "Submit" button.
- Step 7: After registering, candidates will be able to review their options for engineering streams and institutions (based on their rank). Aspirants must select the academic programmes in the order of their preferences based on availability.
- Step 8: After completing their online choices, candidates must remember to lock them. This is a crucial stage in the JoSAA 2024 seat allocation procedure. If a candidate doesn't do this, the system will automatically save the earlier selections and just show the preferences in that order.

JoSAA 2024 Choice Filling: Important Guidelines
Candidates must enter their selections for the JoSAA 2024 seat allocation by following the steps below:
- All choices must be filled out by students in order of decreasing preference.
- Candidates will have a 10-day time period to complete their online selections.
- It is not advisable for candidates to leave their selections till the very last minute. It must be completed as quickly as possible.
