MANET MET 2023 Exam notifications will be available on the official website. Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training Entrance Test (MANET MET) is a university-level entrance examination conducted to offer admission in undergraduate level Marine courses. MAEER’s Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training is more popularly known as MANET, which was founded in 2001 by the MIT, Kothrud Campus to train Cadets to join the Merchant Navy.
About MANET MET 2023
MANET is approved by the Directorate General of Shipping (DG Shipping), Ministry of Shipping, Government of India. MANET has been awarded an A2 (Very Good) rating by BUREAU VERITAS (BV) during the Comprehensive Inspection Programme (CIP) initiated by DG Shipping, Govt. of India.
Marine officers passing out through the portals of the MANET will be gainfully employed in the leading companies of the world, as these officers will be holding the highest honours in the certificate of Competency Examination conducted by the Government of India, Ministry of Shipping.
Courses: There are two courses offered by the Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training: 4 years B.Tech (Marine Engineering) and 3 years B.Sc (Nautical Science).
Enrollment: There are a total of 150 seats for B.Sc (Nautical Science) in MANET and a total of 200 seats available for the B.Tech(Marine Engineering) course.

MANET MET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should go through the pre-defined MANET MET eligibility criteria before moving forward with the application process. Applicants who successfully qualify for the MANET MET 2023 eligibility criteria will be allowed to attempt the MANET MET 2023.
- Academic Qualification: The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with 60% marks and English either in Class X or Class XII with 50% marks.
- Age Limit:
- Candidates, less than 25 years of age as of 1st of August in the year of admission will be eligible to apply.
- The date of birth as recorded on the applicant's School Leaving Certificate will be considered for this purpose.
- The Upper age limit for admission relaxed for SC/ST candidates by 5 Years.
- Gender: MANET MET encourages the participation of both sexes without discrimination.
- Marital Status: Only Unmarried candidates will be considered.
- Physical Fitness: The candidates have to clear all the below mentioned physical tests to be qualified:

- Speech
- Lymphatic System

MANET MET 2023 Application Form
MANET MET 2023 Application Form will be available on the official website of MANET. The Application form is given out by the official authorities conducting the exam and the release date is not announced yet.
Registration Fee: Candidates must pay INR 1000 for all category candidates which can be paid online (Debit/ Credit Card/ Net Banking) or offline (DD)
How To Fill The Application Form?
The following are the steps to the application process for the applicants:
- Step 1: Open the official website and tap on the option “Click here to apply now” with their respective courses preferred.
- Step 2: Click the desktop option for online registration.
- Step 3: Fill in all the required details like your full name, date of birth, contact no, email id, and a new password and select “sign up”, once you filled in the details.
- Step 4: On the applicant details page, fill in all the relevant details like email id, admission type, exam centre preference to proceed further.
- Step 5: Upload your signature and picture in the option provided on the bottom left. (Make sure the picture size is within 50kb in jpg or jpeg format)
- Step 6: Once filling in further details like city and address, select “save and next” which takes you to the payment page.
- Step 7: Select the payment option and click “Pay online” which will take you to the terms and conditions page. Click on the tab saying “I have read and accepted the terms and conditions”.
- Step 8: Now click on “Proceed for payment” where your application process will be completed
Note:
- Each applicant must submit only one Application Form.
- The full name and Date of Birth entered in the application form must be the same as that which appears on your School Leaving Certificate and 10th Board Certificate.
- Please ensure your postal address includes PIN code and telephone numbers (with STD codes) and valid E-mail ID.

MANET MET 2023 Admit Card
MANET MET Admit Card will be released on the official websote. It is a very crucial document that the applicant has to keep in his/her possession throughout the admission process. After registering successfully for the MANET MET 2023, the admit card will be issued. MANET MET Admit Card is to be retained by the candidate as he/she may have to produce the card at the time of counselling and admission or at any time during the admission process when asked for. No separate admit card will be issued to the candidates from MANET.

To download the MANET MET 2023 admit card, the following are the steps to guide you.
- Step 1: The candidates must visit the official website of MANET MET 2023 and select admit card link.
- Step 2: Enter the registered user ID and password provided by MANET MET 2023.

MANET MET 2023 Exam Pattern
MANET MET 2023 exam pattern is determined by the official authorities conducting the MANET MET 2023. MANET MET exam pattern will help candidates get familiarized with the question paper structure and design. The question paper will be in English.
Mode: UIIT HPU CET will be conducted through offline mode i.e. Pen & Paper-based Test (PPT).
Questions: The question paper will contain 150 Multiple Choice Question's (MCQ's) for a duration of 2 Hours i.e. 120 Minutes.
Sections: The paper contains 5 Sections - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, and General Knowledge
Marks: Marks given for the answers are +1 for correct answers and there is No Negative Marking.

MANET MET 2023 Result
MANET MET 2023 Result will be declared on the official website by MANET. Candidate must log in with Application ID and DOB to view the MANET MET Results. Candidates can download the scorecard and save it for future reference. After the marks are declared, the merit list will be prepared based on the performance of the applicants in which they are ranked from the top to the bottom.

Candidates can view the MANET MET results from the official website. Follow the steps to access the MANET MET 2023 results:
- Step 1: Visit the official website and click on MANET MET 2023 Results.
- Step 2: In the displayed access page, enter the user ID and password and click ‘Submit’.
- Step 3: The page directs you to the results page as per the exam centre from which you have to select your exam centre to get the results.

MANET MET 2023 Counselling
Candidates who have cleared the MANET MET 2023 will be called for the counselling process. All the candidates need to fill the Counselling Form with details such as courses intake and should pay the Admission Fee.
Applicants who have completed their Application Process will need to take part in the seat distribution where they will be sitting in order.
How To Apply For MANET MET 2023 Counselling?
The counselling selection process is proceeded based on the merit list provided by the university officials:
- Step 1: The candidate has to check for the date of counselling which will be announced on the official website.
- Step 2: The applied candidates will receive a notification regarding the counselling date and schedule.
- Step 3: For verification during the counselling process, the candidates should carry all the required documents such as Class 10 & 12 Mark Sheet, Admit card, Counselling Admit Card, Birth certificate, Caste Certificate, Medical Certificate, Transfer Certificate and Migration Certificate.
- Step 4: Admissions are provided based on the marks obtained in MANET and the preferred course by the candidate.
