About OSGU
OGSU Entrance Exam is one of the steps in the selection process conducted by Om Sterling Global University. The respective departments conduct the entrance exams for admissions into that particular department/course. The department members also conduct personal interviews after the entrance exam for the selected candidates only. Admission to the university will be done based on the candidates’ scores in the entrance exam, VIVA, personal interview, and academic percentage.

OSGU 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Interested candidates are supposed to qualify for the eligibility criteria and complete the selection process to get admission into Om Sterling Global University. The applications of the candidates who do not satisfy the eligibility criteria will not be considered and will be rejected.
The Eligibility Criteria are as follows:
- Candidates must have secured at least 50% aggregate scores in the qualifying examination (Either in degree (for PG/Ph.D.) or class 12/equivalent (for UG).
- For UG engineering courses, the candidates must have completed their class 12/equivalent course with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with biology/technical vocational subject/chemistry. Candidates are expected to have cleared their class 12/equivalent with a minimum 50% aggregate score for other UG courses.
- For PG/Ph.D. courses, candidates are expected to have cleared their bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject/course with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
OSGU 2023 Application Form
OSGU 2023 Application Form will be available on the official website. The application form for the OSGU Entrance Exam is accepted in two modes, online and offline. The steps to apply both modes are mentioned below.
Note: The document verification will be done after the candidate is selected.
Offline Mode of Application
To apply for the admission process in offline mode, interested candidates can follow the steps mentioned below:
- Visit the OSGU, Hisar Campus, and go to the admission cell.
- Request the application form and fill it up as per the required fields.
- After submission of the application form along with the application fee, you will have to await for the scheduled exam date.
Online Mode of Application
To apply for the admission process in online mode, follow the steps below:
- Visit the official website of OSGU.
- In the “Admissions” drop-down menu, click on “Apply Now.”
- Fill all the fields with the correct information to start the registration process.
- After submitting your details, you must verify your email and phone number.
- Once this verification is done, the login details will be sent to your registered email address.
- Use these details to log in and then fill up the application form with all the correct information. Verify the same before submitting the form.
- After submission of the form along with the requisite fees, await the notification about the exam date.
- The group discussion and/or personal interview will be conducted along with the exam.
Application Fees
The requisite fees for the application form are as follows:

Required Documents
Candidates must submit some documents(or details in these documents) during the application process for the OSGU Entrance Exam. The documents required are:
- Admit Card of Qualifying Exam
- Character Certificate by the last attended SchoolCollege
- Copy of Adhar Card
- Medical Fitness Certificate
- Migration Certificate/Transfer Certificate
- Original Marks Card of Qualifying Examination, i.e. 10+2/Graduation
- Receipt of Fee deposited at the time of Counseling
- Reserved Category Certificate (if required)
- Score / Rank Card of the qualifying exam
- Six passport-size colored photographs (for offline application form)
Note: These documents will be submitted to the university along with attested photocopies or uploaded along with the application form based on the mode of application.
OSGU 2023 Selection Process
The Selection Process is as follows:
- After the application process, candidates must either participate in an All-India Common Entrance Exam (such as JEE Mains for BTech courses) or in the OSGU Entrance Exam.
- A merit list will be generated based on candidates’ performance in the All-India Common Entrance Exam or the OSGU Entrance Exam. These candidates will be called for the Group Discussion (GD), the Personal Interview (PI), or both.
- Then, a final merit list of eligible candidates will be generated based on their scores in the entrance exam, VIVA, Group Discussion/Personal Interview, and aggregate scores in the qualifying exam.
- As in every institution/university, a few seats are reserved for a particular set of candidates. At OSGU, 25% of the seats are reserved for candidates applying from Haryana, and 10% are reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes of Haryana.
OSGU 2023 Counselling
OSGU 2023 Counselling dates will be announced on the official website. The candidates who clear the complete selection process will be called for the OSGU counselling process. These candidates must complete the admission by paying the requisite fees for that particular course. Since the entrance exam is conducted department-wise, the candidates’ only responsibility will be to provide all required documents and pay the fees in the counselling process.
Document Required for the Counselling Process
The candidates must keep the documents mentioned below in hand for the counselling process of this entrance exam.
- Original Marks Card of the qualifying examination (provided that the candidate has cleared the examination)
- Rank Card of the Common Entrance Exam, such as
- JEE Mains for BTech
- GATE for MTech/MSc
- MAT/CMAT for MBA
- Original copy of Class 10/Matrics Certificate as proof of Date of Birth
- Character Certificate of the candidates as issued by their previous educational institution
- Original Transfer Certificate by Board/University (can be given during counselling or within 15 days after admission)
- Anti-Ragging Undertakings attested by candidates and parents.
- Original Aadhaar Card
Candidates are also required to provide a set of self-attested copies of the documents mentioned above. The original documents will be returned to the candidates after the counselling process.
