How to Calculate TS PGECET 2024 Score?
Candidates who have appeared for the exam must know the process to calculate the TS PGECET 2024 score. As per the TS PGECET exam pattern 2024, the question paper consists of 120 MCQs with four options.
Hence, there will be a total of 480 responses. Here is a good mathematical technique for the students to bring out the TS PGECET 2024 score.
| Formula: Percentage marks or score of the candidate = (x/a – y-b) * 100 |
If “a” is for correct responses and “b” is for incorrect responses, then there will be a + b = 480. Candidates must keep in mind that there are negative marks for each incorrect response. Therefore, to calculate the score, take “x” as the number taken for the correct response and “y” as the number taken only for the incorrect response. Hence, candidates can follow to calculate the overall percentage score by applying the formula given above.
For example, if the TS PGECET question paper 2024 has a total number of 530 correct answers. A candidate has submitted only 500 answers, out of which the number of correct answers is 470. Then, the total number of incorrect answers is 110, and the score will be calculated as given below,
