TS PGECET 2024: Phase 1 Seat Allotment (Out), Reporting (Sep 12-19)

TS PGECET 2024 college-wise seat allotment list has been announced on Sep 11, 2024, for phase I. The TS PGECET seat allotment 2024 result for phase I is available at pgecetadm.tsche.ac.in.

Candidates who are selected for admission must report to their concerned colleges between Sep 12 - Sep 19, 2024. The classes for the new academic session will commence on Sep 23, 2024.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), a statutory body of the Government of Telangana Hyderabad, conducts TS PGECET 2024 for admission into regular postgraduate courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Pharmacy (ME/ M.Tech/ M.Pharm/ M.Arch), Graduate level Pharm-D (Post Baccalaureate) for the academic year 2024.

TS PGECET Counselling 2024

TS PGECET counselling 2024 phase I web option entry was conducted from Sep 4 - Sep 5, 2024. The last date to edit the web options entry was Sep 6, 2024. The seat allotment result for phase I was declared on Sep 11, 2024. Candidates whose names appear on the list must report to the allotted colleges between Sep 12 - Sep 19, 2204. The classes will commence on Sep 23, 2024.

The updated counselling dates for TS PGEC/TS PGECET 2024 have been made available on pgecetadm.tsche.ac.in by the Telangana Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad. The deadline for online registration was extended to Aug 24, 2024. On Aug 3, 2024, the physical verification slot booking period closed. On Aug 25, 2024, is when the list of qualified applicants who have registered was shown. 

TS PGECET 2024 counselling process will begin after the declaration of the exam results. Candidates must submit original documents on the day of counselling for the document verification procedure. They can participate in the counselling rounds as per their ranks mentioned on the merit list. GATE and GPAT-qualified candidates can directly apply for the TS PGECET 2024 counselling procedure.

Osmania University released the notification for TS PGECET 2024 on Feb 28, 2024, on the official website. The Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test, commonly known as TS PGECET, is a well-known entrance examination conducted to provide admissions to various postgraduate programs such as ME, M.Tech, M.Pharm, M.Arch, and various other courses. The students may get admission to government and private colleges based only in Telangana. Candidates aspiring for the TS PGECET 2024 examination must know the eligibility criteria before enrolling themselves for the TS PGECET 2024 exam. For aspirants not fulfilling the eligibility criteria, the authority will cancel the applicant's candidature even after qualifying for the exam.

Nationality

The candidate should be an Indian Citizen. The candidates intending to appear for the exam must be a citizen of Indian and hold a domicile of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh

Age Limit

There is no upper age limit for appearing for PGECET 2024 for self-financed students. For a Fee Reimbursement, the maximum age for SC/ ST/ BC candidates is 34 years, and for Minorities /Disabled/EBC, the age limit is 30 years.

GATE

GATE qualifiers are not required to appear for the examination. They can directly apply for admission to M.Tech Programs based on their GATE Scores. Also, during admissions GATE, qualifiers will be preferred more over non-GATE candidates.

Educational Qualification

The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree concerning the stream they opt for and should have a minimum aggregate of 50% for the general category and 45% for the reserved categories. Aspirants in the final year can also apply for the TS PGECET 2024.

TS PGECET 2024 provisional answer key has been released for the papers commenced till now. The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has issued the master question papers, response sheet, and answer key for TS PGECET 2024. Candidates who appear for the exam will be able to check and download the TS PGECET 2024 preliminary answer key and the response sheet from the official website after the release. 

Furthermore, there was the provision to raise objections against the preliminary answer key. Students could raise objections till Jun 14, 2024. However, the answer key for the exam commenced on Jun 10, 2024 was released on Jun 10, 2024 and the objection window was available till Jun 13, 2024. Furthermore, the preliminary answer keys for exams scheduled for Jun 12 and 13, 2024, were released after the exam.

Furthermore, the final answer key for TS PGECET exam 2024 has been released on Jun 18, 2024. The final answer key will be prepared considering all the objections raised against the provisional answer keys. Students must note that there is no provision to raise objections against the final answer key.

TS PGECET Exam Day Guidelines 2024

Candidates must note the following instructions before appearing for the TS PGECET 2024.

• Candidates should report to the test centre at 9 am (before 1 hour) for the morning session and 2 pm for the afternoon session.
• Make sure you carry your TS PGECET admit card to the exam centre, without which the candidate will not be allowed to sit for the examination.
• The authorities can check the candidate's admit card at any time during the examination.
• Since the exam is for 2 hours, candidates must monitor the time spent on each question and maximize their efficiency by attempting more questions with accuracy.
• Make sure you do not carry any electronic gadgets to the exam centre. Candidates found doing any unfair means will be disqualified for the TS PGECET exam.
