MBA Admission 2024 in India are done phase-wise where most of the colleges generally open their admission window in May-June of the year. The MBA entrance exams take place roughly between Sep- Nov every year.

Admission to the MBA course consists of several steps which include standardized entrance tests such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, and MAH-SET, which are administered at the national, state, or institutional level. Shortlisted students must clear the entrance exam, group discussion (GD), written ability test (WAT), and personal interview (PI) rounds to get into the 2-year MBA course.

Most B-schools like IIMs accept CAT scores for MBA admission, whereas XLRI, IIFT, NMIMS, & SIBM solely consider their own entrance exam scores. Students must meet the minimum eligibility requirements which mostly consist of candidates scoring 50% in their bachelor's studies depending on the entrance exams.

The Course Fees for IIMs range between INR 6 - 13.5 LPA while MBA Fees at Tier 1&2 colleges range between INR 10 - 20 LPA.
