Gujarat NEET Tie-Breaking Process 2024

Sometimes, two or more candidates achieve the same results and make up a tie. To resolve this confusion NEET has a tie-breaking process. This process comprises some rules that students must be aware of if they land in such scenarios. Here’s what all they need to keep in mind:

• Higher marks in Biology: Aspirants who secure higher scores/percentile in Biology (Botany and Zoology) will be preferred first for the NEET merit list.
• Higher marks in Chemistry: If the tie remains then the most preferred and accepted subject is chemistry, the scores/percentile of this subject will be considered to break the tie.
• Several incorrect answers: If the tie remains, the candidate with fewer incorrect answers will get selected for the merit list.
• If the tie persists, the candidates holding higher marks in English in the qualifying exam will be given a better rank for Gujarat MBBS admission 2024.
• After that, candidates with higher aggregate marks in class 10 will be allotted a higher rank in the state merit list.
• In the end, the older candidate will retain a higher merit position.

Gujarat MBBS 2024 Counselling

The authority will conduct the Gujarat MBBS/BDS counselling 2024 in online mode lasting for two rounds. Before the seat allotment, aspirants have to provide their preference for the college as well as their preferred course.
